Instead, you have a limited amount for every weapon, though your supply does recharge, and rather quickly (though more so in the case of your normal weapon your special ones take longer). No, it's more that you don't have an endless supply of ammo. And not just because you can earn currency you earn by playing and beating missions, which you can then use to upgrade your weapons. What's different is how your weapons work. You still have to run and jump to get from one gunfight to another, and some of those gunfights get rather complicated, especially when your enemies are some big boss who'd make Godzilla nervous. though they are sometimes a little different than you remember. ![]() Which is why you get to play levels from earlier games. In Mega Man X Dive, you play a fan of the Mega Man X games who's been sucked into the system so you can help fix some glitches and thus save this series from destruction. X is still fun to play as, and the weapons are decent, but most of your time will be spent frustrated with annoying enemies or bored with all of the backtracking and dull level design. Though it would work much better with a controller than with the touch controls it offers, this is still a love letter to this iconic sci-fi shooter series. Mega Man X3 should have been as great as X1 and X2, but it fails in many regards, and is merely decent in others.
